I’ve been a State Farm agent since 2005, after joining the company and learning the ropes the year before. I grew up in a family with a strong independent streak—my parents and grandparents are all entrepreneurs, so starting from a young age I developed a desire to run my own business. I’m a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in psychology, and spent a few years working in outside marketing before finally getting the opportunity to open my State Farm agency. I’ve been married for over 20 years, and my wife and I have two great kids. In our free time, we enjoy spending time out on the lake—boating and waterskiing—and we’re also huge college football fans.
